Hp Photosmart Drivers
Just bought a HP PhotoSmart 2575 (network enabled) printer.
I have two PowerBooks and installed the printer software/driver successfully on the first PowerBook. By this I mean that the 'All-in-One' driver was recognized within the (Mac OS X) Printer Browser utilty and I could then connect to the printer.
For some reason on the second powerbook the 'All-in-One' driver is not
recognized - ie does not appear in the (Mac OS X) Printer Browser
utilty. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded latest version etc. But always the same thing.
Anybody suggest why the second (identical) powerbook does not seem to know about the new driver?
Is it possible that the first install had a problem, and the subsequent uninstall (via HP Uninstall utility) does not remove everything it should? If so, any advice on cleaning out the hp driver/software installation so I can try to install again
I manually select the GIMP PhotoSMart 9100 driver and that seems to work, but I'd like to install the correct driver properly if possible.
Thanks for any help,
Darrell
